  • Abstract
    On the basis of object-oriented and component technology, software reusability in GIS software design and development is implemented. Four level models about GIS are propounded, the order: the view level, the implement level, the control level and the data model level. In the mean time, this paper uses the spatial database to store spatial information and terrain data document to store terrain information. Component relevant configuration information is also stored in database, therefore, reduces the incompatibility issues of system and component caused by more system configuration files.
