Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Based on the daily precipitation data from 740 stations in China and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis daily datasets, the cause of interdecal variability of rainfall over North China during rainy season because of the interdecal variability of the atmospheric heat source over and around the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau are analysed by means of correlation analysis wavelet analysis and composite analysis methods. Some results are discovered as flollowings: there are significant positive correlation between the rainfall over North China during rainy season and the atmospheric heat source over and around the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. The atmospheric heat source becomes anomalous weaker from anomalous stronger over Qinghai-Xizang Plateau since 1978, which results in zonal vertical circulation becomes anomalous downward from anomalous upward in the east of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, which maybe is an important factor for the interdecadal variabity of rainfall over North China during rainy season.
