Abstract
Among the model problems of electromagnetic wave diffraction, an important place is occupied by the problems of diffraction on thin strips. Here, along with the classical problems of diffraction on perfectly conducting surfaces, one can consider the problems, in which the metal strips is not perfect and the real losses are taken into account. The problem of diffraction of a plane time-harmonic electromagnetic wave on a finite number of flat parallel arrays, each of which consists of a finite number of thin strips is considered. The strips are made of real metal with losses that is taken into account by choosing the boundary conditions on their surfaces. The solution of the problem is equivalent to a solution of two boundary value problems
