  • Abstract
    In this article, estimation method of the IP packet delay variation is proposed in ITU-T Recommendation Y.1541 is considered. Exact value of this index is calculated for two probability distributions of the packets delay. Necessity of the development of the new method for the more precise calculation of IP packet delay variation is shown.
