Abstract
This paper describes an approach for developing software systems from reusable components. The approach views domain analysis as an integrated part within the development life-cycle. The domain oriented components are analysed by a domain analyst as well as a system analyst. The domain analyst identifies the reusable features in a particular domain and builds a framework for specifying reusable components in that domain. Object-oriented techniques are used to identify the reusable objects in the domain
