Abstract
This paper presents a novel topology for double conversion uninterrupted power supply (UPS). The most important characteristics of this converter are: low cost, low conduction and commutation losses on all the controlled switches, the control is implemented with commercial integrated circuits, and the rectifier and the inverter are on the same circuit. Theoretical analysis, operation principle, and topology details are presented and validated through experimental results.
