Abstract
Telecommunication power system solutions are reviewed and compared to meet latest power saving standards and regulations. As part of such system, front-end power supply design including PFC and post-PFC DC/DC converter optimal topologies is discussed in depth. Benefits of suggested optimal power saving control algorithm for phase-shifted full-bridge converter are confirmed by test results of 660-W prototype.
