Roger sudbury and the vision for phased arrays

Summary form only given, as follows. This talk will focus on the earliest vision for phased array antennas and Roger Sudbury´s contribution to the development of the field. The talk will also include an overview of Roger´s contributions to the management and leadership of MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Roger started at Lincoln Laboratory as a technical staff member researching solid-state devices for modern radars to become the Laboratory´s executive officer, serving within the Lincoln Laboratory Director´s Office.
