Abstract
Based on inverse system method, a nonlinear control strategy for HVDC system is presented in this paper, only using local measurable variables as the feedback and complying with the hierarchical structure, to solve the application difficulties. In order to improve the dynamic performance of AC/DC system, the modulation signal is introduced into the nonlinear controller to achieve multi-object control. The simulation results of the simplified Tian-Guang AC/DC parallel system verify that the nonlinear control strategy can effectively improve the stability of the AC/DC system, and can be conveniently applied into the practical HVDC control system.
