  • Abstract
    A review of selected developments in photonic component technology and integration for radio-over-fiber systems is given. This includes component technology for mm-wave systems at E-band and W-band, based on remote up-conversion (baseband-over-fiber) and radio-over-fiber using optical generation of mm-waves, and photonic integration techniques based on silicon nitride platforms.
