  • Abstract
    The simulation model of high voltage generator is proposed in MATLAB/SIMULINK based on the equivalent mathematical model of the new type generator. Simulation module is established in a single-machine infinite-bus. A high voltage generator prototype rated at 162.5 kVA/5 kV is taken as the research object in this paper. The quasi-synchronizing parallel in operation characteristic is studied with digital simulation, Stator voltage, stator current, rotor speed electromagnetic torque are analyzed under two kinds of frequency difference conditions when high voltage generator is brought into service. The various variations of principal parameter waveforms characteristics are obtained, it has also been demonstrated that studies of new type of High voltage generator are feasible by this means.
