  • Abstract
In this paper, the high performance, high efficiency Multi-Polarizations X-band T/R-module, the core component of satellite SAR system, has been developed. The T/R module operates in X-band and is capable of operating in two orthogonal polarizations alternatively. In its working band, the T/R module provides over 8W output power and has noise figure of 3dB, power added efficiency of over 22% .Especially for space applications low mass is required, therefore new technologies as multilayer LTCQ highly integrated GaAs MMICs and ASICs are used for minimum size 100x22x10 (mm) and weight of only 60g.
