Abstract
A method of calculation of an attenuation function of the ground wave field by means of generalized Feinherg??s equation taking into account the terrain relief is considered. It is possible to calculate the electromagnetic field in the LF-MF range over extensive inhomogeneous paths with a "had" conductivity. The attenuation function is calculated on a model of a plane Earth\´s surface on the first part of the path. Predicting maps of geoelectric sections and topographical digital maps characterizing the terrain relief and different types of forests are the basis for attenuation function calculations.
