Abstract
Parasitic interactions through the power supply lines, the substrate or capacitive crosstalk put major limitations on the performance of analog integrated circuits, especially in mixed analog-digital ASICs. A general method is presented for modeling power supply interactions based on symbolic computation. Complete and accurate new models for the power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of CMOS operational amplifiers are provided and are verified with simulation. The models include both mismatch and high-frequency effects. Different topologies are compared and design rules are derived from the models
