Abstract
Semi-chemical pulping processes require the implementation of discrete, batch and continuous process control to effectively perform its designed function. This paper defines integrated hybrid control and how it is applied to the pulping process making optimum use of each of the integrated technologies to optimize control within the major steps of the pulping process
