  • Abstract
An approach to directly design operational transconductance amplifier (OTA)-C filters based on the SFG of the transfer function is presented. The author has successfully designed three types of the first-order circuits and three types of the second-order circuits with this method. This approach is simple, fast, intuitive and easy to learn. The meanings and parameters of the circuit are clear at a glance. If the transfer function for a filter is known, then the OTA-C filter can be designed from its SFG
