Abstract
Anomalies of a possible system origin in the data from the LIPS-III spacecraft are discussed. Voltage data are examined, and then three puzzling current anomalies are discussed: an annual variation, high values in the third year of operation, and high initial values. Steep degradation in solar cell and solar concentrator I SC during the first 400 days in orbit is discussed. It is recommended that initially high values of I SC be ignored if this quantity drops rapidly soon after the first measurement. If data are kept only when the angle between Sun and satellite vectors is 60° or less, the problem with glint should be avoided. Concerning the annual variation of I SC, it is suggested that the data be averaged on an annual basis
