Abstract
This paper presents the modeling of soft magnetic composite materials (SMC) using a non linear homogenization technique. This study provides useful information for the powder development and design. A new method to take into account the real geometry of the iron particles and the insulation layer is developed. This method permits to evaluate the equivalent permeability and the hysteresis losses of SMC as a function of different geometrical and physical parameters.
