  • Abstract
The QRS complex detection technique for intelligent ECG monitor was presented. Firstly, the pretreatment of ECG data including the rejection of 50Hz power-line interference and the removal of baseline wander was focused on. Afterwards, the method combining the differential threshold method and the amplitude detection method was introduced for localization of R-waves. The improved Tompkins differential method served as the measuring method of QRS duration. Experimental results using records from MIT-BIH arrhythmia database indicated these methods were feasible and reliable. Eventually, the accurate and rapid QRS detection technique was simply implemented and performed well in practice.
