  • Abstract
    This paper describes a custom-designed measuring system based on Digimatic indicator and its integration into LinuxCNC control software. The system is composed of a digital indicator equipped with Digimatic output and a MODBUS slave module which is connected to the CNC machine´s PC via MODBUS. Although, the described measuring system was primarily intended for the evaluation of mechanical parameters of a custom-designed CNC milling machine, it can be used more widely.
