  • Abstract
The authors develop a digital algorithm for the calculation of the electromechanical forces on spacecraft power system transmission lines. Due to concern over spacecraft vibration, especially in defence applications where tracking and pointing are of interest, this algorithm is developed in a manner amenable to vibration prediction. Included in the force calculation algorithm is a method for modeling many transmission line geometries and various physical phenomena.<>
