  • Abstract
3D graphics software interfaces have innovated from the simple text mode command to the graphical interface-based operating environment. In the graphical interfaces, design of icons will directly impact on the operation of designers. The research bases on Rhinoceros, UG, Pro/E and Cinema 4D, a total of four sets of common used 3D graphical software icon. According to the mapping types of the icons, researchers analyzed the command icons and integrated interface and compared with the basis of icon design as well as similarities and differences. Researchers chose Rhinoceros as experimental software and screening test samples, and took advantage of usability assessment to operate experiments which was designed to verify the rationality and reasons, and analyze designs of icons and customer interfaces. Finally, researchers explored the advantage and disadvantage of software interface to design new graphic interface in order to provide better user interface icons.
