  • Abstract
    In this paper, space-time coding with frequency-hopping spread spectrum are studied for wireless transmission with the occurrence of multitone jammers. The maximum likelihood decoding of space-time codes is derived no matter whether the jamming state information is available or not. Several suboptimal decoding schemes are also presented for complexity reduction. Verified by the simulation results, the suboptimal schemes achieve near-optimum performance and our system outperforms the conventional schemes in terms of both signal-to-noise power ratio and bandwidth efficiency
