Abstract
This paper proposes a method for the behavioral modeling of white noise source, dedicated to time domain simulations. The behavioral model is implemented with VHDL-AMS. Simulation results are presented and analyzed. As an application, a second order sigma-delta modulator designed with the switched-current technique (SI) is simulated at the behavioral level. The concept is then re-used to simulate noise effects on a SI sigma-delta modulator
