Abstract
Wireless sensor devices have applications for use in monitoring signals from the human body such as the electrocardiograph (ECG) and accelerometer data which contain vital information for an individual engaging in exercise. From ECG sensors and accelerometers, a person´s heart rate and motion can be straightforwardly computed. However, little research is being conducted in the utilization of such data to gain deeper insights into the effects of exercise. In this paper, we demonstrate our developed system and discuss its use in various monitoring applications, as well as several research directions intended for like minded researchers in this subject.
