Abstract
A new approach to an estimation of complexity of the electroencephalogram (EEG) in humans is proposed. The basic idea of the approach consists in that complexity of continuous curve must be estimated by a relative part of information which one needs to recover the curve by given set of approximation methods with given accuracy based upon finite number of observations
