  • Abstract
Recently, there is a demand for the development of a noise removal system to acquire comfortable sounds in real-life sound environments in which various noises are intermingled. The Adaptive Line Enhancer (ALE), one of the applications of an adaptive digital filter, can extract only periodic signals from signals containing non-periodic noises. However, the ALE does not work well when applied to signals containing pulse noise. In this study, in order to improve this drawback of the ALE, a new method that combining the Complex Rl-Wavelet with the ALE is proposed. In our experiments of the simulation, encouraging results were obtained.
