Research on optimizing the operating project about Intercity passenger train

An Intercity passenger flow is of very strong market sensitivity. From the market of passenger transportation and on the basis of analyzing the characteristics and influence factors of the Intercity passenger flow, this article introduces a method on how to make an operating project about the Intercity passenger train. Finally, an example about making use of the method to confirm the optimum operating project of passenger train in the railway district from Shanghai to Nanjing in China is given.
