Abstract
We use an inference method proposed by Tsukamoto, which is based on Lukasiewicz logic to develop the control law and apply it to speed control of a DC servo motor system. The main purpose of this paper is to develop the stability, robustness, and other behavior of the fuzzy controller and compare it with the classical PI controller. A mathematical model is developed, and used in the computer simulation to aid the selection of the control parameters. Also, the feasibility of the fuzzy controller is validated by laboratory experiments.
