  • Abstract
In this paper, a model of fixed pump displacement and variable motor speed electro-hydrostatic actuator (FPVM-EHA) system based on Simscape libraries is presented. The use of the Simulink products allows us to simulate precisely the functioning of this actuator system including different types of nonlinearities and physical aspects. A cascade of three controllers regulates the system. The position controller is developed, using a feedforward and a proportional integrator (PI) regulator in parallel connexion. The benefits of the integration of fuzzy logic in the position controller are pointed out by the simulation results.
