Abstract
Summary form only given. Self-consistent computer simulation of plasma transport in the scrape-off layer is performed. A version (BIT1-S) of XPDP1 and BIT1 codes is used in which the basic particle collisions are accounted with appropriate model assumptions and code procedures. A method for global verification of the calculations is used which allows to estimate the role of considered collisions. Making comparison of different simulation results of the plasma loads with data the evidences for volume recombination are discussed
