Abstract
AMBA (advanced microcontroller bus architecture) is the de facto standard for today´s SOC (system-on-chips) designs. IP (intellectual property) cores compatible to AMBA are all expensive commercial products. OpenCores provides many useful, free, open source IP cores which have WISHBONE compatible interface. This paper describes the designing of WISHBONE to AMBA wrapper which enables the use of WISHBONE interface IP cores in AMBA bus environment.
