Abstract
Pure time-delay is one of the prominent features of many industrial processes. It is difficult to get satisfactory results using the traditional control strategies. More effective control strategies is shown as Smith control, Dahlin algorithm and Predictor control. By analyzing the Smith control, both self balance and non-self balance thermal process are discussed in this paper. All researches have been approved by several illustrative simulation results.
