Abstract
Summary form only given. The RITS-6 accelerator has recently been commissioned at Sandia National Laboratories. It is a six cell induction voltage adder capable of delivering greater than 10 MV, 125 kA, 75 ns pulses to high impedance (>200 ohms) electron beam diodes. Flexibility in the architecture also allows for the ability to deliver ~7.5 MV, 150 kA, 75 ns pulses to lower impedance (~50 ohms) diodes. Over the next few years experiments on RITS-6 will be conducted to enhance and optimize the X-ray intensity of the next generation radiographic sources, with the goal of achieving a greater than five fold increase in intensity compared to present day pulsed power driven sources. An overview of the upcoming diode research and development plans will be presented
