Abstract
Various advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) have been widely used in manufacturing companies, but there are still quite more advanced manufacturing technologies that did not get its performance well in implementation. Among the many reasons, production process not matching with AMTs is the most important one. For analyzing the interactive relation of the AMTs and production processes, in this paper, AMTs have been classified into three categories: independent technology, integrated technology and information technology. We use process length, activities synchronization, the information accuracy and share degree, the authorization degree to character production process. On the base of analyzing interactive relations of all AMTs and production process, the concept of degree of synergy and the method to calculate it are presented. To get synergic effect, pre-evaluation mechanism to the degree of Synergy, communication mechanism, integration mechanism and the feedback mechanism must be established.
