Abstract
Polarized electron beams will play a crucial role in maximizing the physics potential for future e+/e- linear colliders. We review the SLC polarized electron source (PES), present a design for a conventional PES for the Next Linear Collider (NLC), and discuss the physics issues of a polarized RF gun
