  • Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the localization accuracy of a linear least-squares technique both theoretically and via simulations. Closed-form expressions for the mean square localization errors are derived both for line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios and compared with the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB). Analysis reveals that the localization error tends to increase as the mobile terminal moves away from the reference base-station.
