  • Abstract
Honeywell is developing a primary frequency standard which will have reduced size, weight, and power in comparison to existing clocks with similar performance. To date we have demonstrated a fractional frequency stability of 1 × 10-12 at one hour in our 17cc glass vacuum cell, and short term stability of 3.3 × 10-11 at one second in initial testing in our new 7cc vacuum cell. Aggressive miniaturization efforts are underway on all major clock components.
