Abstract
On synthetic quartz crystals, quantitative evaluation about the correlation between peaked cobbles and dislocations with screw component was investigated. This correlation provides capability of nondestructive evaluation for dislocation density by cobble density. The authors developed a system to observe the cobbles effectively. It can be used for industrial field.
