Abstract
A new method for the control system design of AGVs is proposed in the paper. The control system design can avoid a prohibited situation and a deadlock, and also evaluate the rule and AGV number. The control system is applied to the AGV of a factory production line system. Its effectiveness is confirmed by SIMAN/CINEMA simulation
