  • Abstract
    In this paper we analyze how the elements in the Microsoft Authenticode interface influence final users´ decisions about downloading code from the Internet. Results show that the users´ behavior appears to be mostly driven from the code publisher name, without considering other information provided by the interface. A proposal to improve the user interface is currently under evaluation
