The Construction and Application of Multitouch Interactive Platform Based on Touchlib

Multitouch technology has already caused a new boom since it was employed in mobile phones and tablet PCs. As an emerging technique, it provides users with a humanized and intuitive experience. The purpose of this paper is to explore the economic implementation of multitouch, propose the approach of building multitouch interactive platform based on touchlib, discuss multitouch application and give a number of specific example scenarios. Through experiments and users´ experience, the result reflection is satisfactory and users accept the advantages and charm of multitouch technology. Multitouch provides users a more natural way of input, a more comfortable way of operation and a more profound understanding of multitouch, thus it will have a promising market in everyday life, entertainment and research in the future.
