Abstract
This paper presents a systematic and comprehensive investigation on factors affecting the use of computer for elderly people by reviewing a great deal of literature on their educational levels, daily activities and health problem. The investigation includes an extensive literature reviews in the area of population census, ageing and human-computer interaction. Through the investigation, we will demonstrate the situation of demographic shift all over the world, obtain more clear definition of who is an elderly adult and find out how their educational level, daily activities, and health problem affect the use of computer.
