Abstract
Visibility analysis is a key problem of space-based optical observation in orbital operations. However, it is a complex problem, making simulations very difficult. This paper aims at solving it in an easier and more efficient way. Firstly, the three basic conditions are introduced, and then the model of visibility for single observation equipment is built. Secondly, simulation for a certain target is carried out and the concept of visible area is put forward, and how the parameters of the paltform orbit affect the visible area is simulated. Finally, the result is analysed and some useful conclusions are obtained.
