  • Abstract
    This paper, by exploiting characteristic function (CHF) and Beaulieu series, evaluates bit error rate (BER) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) with Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) modulation impaired by residual frequency and timing offsets over frequency selective Rayleigh fading channels. While it overcomes the limitation that the previous studies using the similar CHF approach can not calculate exact BER when OFDM has a large number of sub carriers. Simulation results illustrate the accuracy of the proposed analysis.
