Abstract
Enterprises and academic circles pay much attention to supply chain quality due to the importance of supply chain quality management. However, there is not any expert to define supply chain quality(SCQ) explicitly. Based on the concept of supply chain quality management and ISO9000:2000, this paper attempts to define SCQ and summarizes its characters. The definition of SCQ is the foundation of supply chain quality management and research on supply chain quality formation mechanism is the essential requirement of acquire core competence in supply chain.
