Abstract
How to effectively build reliable multi-path and how to reliably deliver packets over multiple paths are still two challenging tasks when there are malicious nodes in wireless ad hoc network. To solve this question, we proposed segment-based multi-path routing protocol(SMRP) in this paper. Theoretic analysis shows that SMRP is more secure and reliable than other kinds of routing protocols. Therefore, we introduce rules to deploy reliable nodes into the hot spots of network communication and design protocol to securely divide a primary route into several segments in terms of reliable nodes. In each segment, multiple node-disjoint paths are set up. We further explore SMRP to enhance packets delivery reliability by dynamically buffering and retransmitting coded packets on segment nodes. Simulation results show that SMRP performs well.
