    In the winter of telecommunications, how about the situation of Chinese optical communications? This paper describes the development trend of optical communications technologies in China briefly from some system projects such as "10th five year plan of National Key Technologies R & D Programme (NKTRDP)", "863 Hi-tech Research and Development Program of China (863)" and others.
