Abstract
A metamaterial made of metallic and superconducting split ring resonators shows negative refractive index and the tangential wavevectors for s- and p- polarized light, depending on the fraction of the superelectrons. The temperature dependence of the superconductors is useful for switching the directionality of light beam.
