  • Abstract
    In this paper, to remove the dispersion error of the Yee scheme, three different difference schemes are used which uses the points located at the surface, the vertex, and the edge of the conventional Yee lattice, respectively. Then a new spatial difference scheme is defined using a weighted summation of the three difference schemes, and by varying the weight factors, a nearly isotropic FDTD scheme can be achieved
